Several players in the metal sheet & plate markets, major OEMs, had approached us requesting a more reliable source of service and quality products; which they considered lacking in the industry.
Mr. van Zuiden partnered with Normand Jacques and Eric Jacques. Together, the three men have invested a sum of nearly $ 2 million to realize their project and answer the OEMs’ request. This investment was mainly used for the purchase of specialized high precision equipment:

> An Amada ASLUL300FOMII Tower
– Allowing for a greater profitability via a “Lights-Off” production process and the ability to process high volume parts in a timely manner
> A 300amp Messer Plasma Cutter
> An Amada HS2204-A8 247 Ton Press Brake with WILA Tooling System

We have acquired a factory covering an area of 1,675 square meters in Ayer’s Cliff, Quebec.
Alec van Zuiden (CEO) is well known in the manufacturing world and serves as Mentor for the Dobson / Lagassé Center in all things Entrpreneurial. In the past, he also directed Wulftec International and Mesotec Inc., two jewels in the regional economy of the Eastern Townships.
